Blogger Bowl Reminder

August 25th, 2006 | by Scott |

If you are a member of my blog fantasy football league remember that our draft is this Monday night at 9 PM Central.

I think I have included everybody that requested a team.  I do have room for 2 more teams if anyone else is interested.  Here’s the deal: It has to be 2 teams.  We have 10 teams now.  So, if two of you are out there, let me know and I’ll hook you up.

Here’s who is lined up:

Johnny Jets

Matt Wisdom

Phil Wilson

Chris Borland

Jon Mower

Greg Kendall-Ball

Jason Bybee

Darren Knowles

Ruthie Knowles

And yours truly.

On second thought, this isn’t a fantasy football league.   It’s an evangelical tour-de-force.

Anybody else got the guts to belly up?  Let the smack begin.

When will draft order be determined? I’ve got my eye on Sebastian Janikowski for my #1 pick.

are you ready for some football!?

we should make this league interesting: all the losers have to write a blog tribute to the winner?

I would love to hear all the kind things you have to say about me…

Not that you should have known otherwise, but it’s actually Jon Moore (mower is an alias). Looking forward to it…

    question:

Ruthie and I are at her parents and trying to use their computers for the draft. When I try the the “draft tester” nothing happens–it just sits there. am I going to be screwed tomorrow night? do I need to change some settings?

there is no way I can let the computer draft for me…

    Darren,
I had problems with the draft tester using Firefox, but when I tried with Safari, it worked OK. That may not help you, but just wanted to give you a heads up.

Had my church league draft last night–I’m pretty pleased with that team.

Darren, I hope you get your draft tester working. Don’t know how to help other than what Jason suggested–try a different browser.
Or, give me your password, I’ll draft for you. I hear this is James Mungro’s year.

I have it from inside sources that San Francisco is going to be awesome this year! Just don’t let anybody know I told you….

I think I’ve got it figured out, we are good to go…but I’ll keep in mind that James Mungro tip–thanks–no, really, thanks…

Holy cow. Our teams really stink. Last week I realized Sunday morn b/f heading off to church that my kicker may not play. That’s all the attention I’ve paid to my team…until today. Hopefully this will be a turn around week.

Tell me about it. I’ve never had a team this bad.

This team is driving me nuts and it’s the Monday’s that are killing me no matter what I try. But it’s about the normal team that I have, great on paper before the season…..

I just checked out this week’s match-up. It looks like all four bottom teams are playing each other.

Scott– the good news is one of us will be a winner this week.
