There Once Was A Time…
December 26th, 2006 | by Scott |…when vacations and holidays were relaxing times. No more.
Hours of putting together toys and suffering grievous bodily harm opening that packaging has led to one tired individual.
At least I won my church fantasy football league. Congrats to Greg Kendall-Ball for winning my blog league.
For those of you who are such a positive presence on my blog I wish you a wonderful holiday season. My God bless you during this time with family and friends. It is heart-warming to know that I have this community that, even when we disagree, can be so encouraging and edifying. I truly appreciate those of you who embody that Spirit of Christ in my life.

It has been exhausting! I don’t think we’ve functioned on this little sleep since having a newborn. But this really has been one our best Christmases ever. Love you!

Christmas takes on a whole new meaning as parents, doesn’t it? I went to bed at 2 a.m. after a midnight candlelight service and coming home to put together a ping pong table.
Great memories.
Merry Christmas to you all, and blessings in 2007!

I do not claim to be one of those “postive presences” but I do pray God’s shalom upon you and yours through the remainder of the holiday season.
If you get a chance drop by and check out my new series on the Holy Spirit and help me think through Paul’s insight.
Shalom,
Bobby Valentine

I notice you’re reading Kuo’s book. I’d like to hear your comments on it when you’re done. I’m hoping to start Balmer’s book within the next fe days. Just got an email from the library that it’s in, so I’m picking it up today or tomorrow.
