    My wife thinks that it is twisted that I posted this. I say that it is a cautionary tale to parents to be careful around these guys. To run around in those costumes in that heat all day. They are probably all just teetering on the edge.

    It felt like one of those wolf chases baby deer kinda things. I guess as a mom I’m now forever destined to have immediate flight-or-fight feelings when I see something like this.

    Coincidentally, Darren had showed me this YouTube clip earlier today. Maybe there is something to that costume/heat combo theory.

    I was the mascot at my high school for like 5 football games. After a kid was pulling on the tail of the extremely expensive costume I was wearing, and then another kid hit me in the stomach, I had my own freak out moment. I opened up the mouth so he could see my face and I screamed “what is your frikken problem”

    He started crying (he was like 12) and I walked to the car, took off the costume, and went home. I retired the next monday.

    I’d like to rag on the little piggies to the NW, but truthfully, I would have rather the Horns have lost in Alabama (by any score) than have barely won in Orlando. I didn’t even know UCF was in Orlando until yesterday. I wouldn’t be surprised if both Alabama and Arkansas jumped Texas in the polls. That being said…don’t give too much credit to Saban…they now have Major Applewhite upstairs in that booth too!
