Moving, Part 7
October 21st, 2007 | by Scott |It’s all packed. The movers arrive early tomorrow morning to load us up for our move to Fort Ponca.
Tonight we went back to our old congregation and said goodbye. It was hard, especially since I leave with such a profound feeling of failure. But that’s behind now and we look forward.
The next time you hear from us we will be Oklahomans and living in Ponca Gulch.

When we left Florida, after 8 years of preaching there, it was such a bad leaving. I felt not only a complete failure, but that I was leaving some very dear friends when it could have been resolved had the elders even consented to talk with me! We drove from the east coast of Florida to the west coast of Southern California, taking almost two weeks to make the trip and I hardly spoke a word during the entire trip! But God richly blessed me in Long Beach. I trust you will be richly blessed in OK.

Dude~you should totally rename this church upstart (is that different than a church plant?)…wait for it…The Gulch: We’re What’s at the End of that Slippery Slope. I googled it and you can still get the domain name if you hurry.
I’d say we miss you, but we never seemed to see you in Waco anyway; so maybe we’ll see each other just as much. We’re praying for Tracy and the girls and sending warm fuzzy thoughts into the cosmos on your behalf as well!

This has nothing to do with your post, but am glad to see things seem to be going well for you. Got a question on my blog I’d like to see your thoughts on. Since you get a lot more traffic than I’ll get, wondered if you’d move it here.

Thanks, all. Kenny, I’ll give a shot at answering when I get comp at the house.
