He May Not End Up Winning The Heisman…

November 4th, 2007 | by Scott |

…but he is the best player in college football today and the greatest to ever put on a Razorback jersey. I’d love to have him back for a senior season but he’d be an idiot to turn down the number one overall pick this year. I’ll just have to enjoy his last 4 games as a hog.

Oh, and Felix Jones ain’t too shabby either. Hopefully, we are starting to play the football we are capable of.

At least his name is already being mentioned again. The were discussing this on The Sports Reporters this morning. Most of them went with Dixon (Oregon QB), but they talked about McFadden, too, and Stephen A Smith said Mc was his pick. Seems like he’d fallen off for a while, but if he could follow this up with some good performances against TN and LSU (like he did last year), he’d be right back in it.

I’m not sure he can win it - especially since Ark will probably lose at least one more. But he could get invited to NY again.

Last night was impressive, though. Makes a big difference when he’s healthy…

He tore up UT last year. He gets my vote.

Man, until this weekend, I was excited thinking Miss State might take two out of their last three and have 7 wins. Then Arkansas decides to show up again, and Alabama almost beats LSU.

And DMac is definitely the best player in the game right now. No question.

He may even be the best running back in SEC history. He’s at least the most versatile.

I am so glad to see him back like this. The only bad thing about his performance is that it may end up saving HNutt’s job.
