Okay, just FYI in case you’re interested. You mention something to make you miss Texas is Oklahoma state taxes. I read an article this week that when you factor in federal, state, and local taxes Oklahoma is the LOWEST taxed state in the U.S. Not just 45th or 48th, but 50th out of 50. I was actually a little shocked at that myself. It’s just that you notice state income tax because it hits you once a year. Property taxes - if you own you either escrow or pay once a year, but if you rent you forget that it’s part of your rental payment. I think I’ll stay right where I am.
