Question for ya: how often do the thoughts and writings of folks like Claiborne, Borg, and Wright make their way into your preaching at church? If it’s even a little bit, you may be the most progressive pastor in town.

And I like that. I’m tempted to show up this weekend for the sole reason that you, an evangelical preacher in the American mid-west, place folks like these in a year-end “Best Of” list. Keep up the great reading!
