Harry Potter is definitely worth it. I have to admit that it took me a while to get into Sorceror's Stone. I'm also aware that my take on it is strongly influenced by having read it with my daughter. We experienced all the books together and that made it special. I do highly recommend them.

I listened to C&P on audio. It was worth finishing.

Sorry to say that I have started Crime and Punishment so many times and cannot seem to finish it.

American Gods is the first book I purchased on my Kindle. Had to finish a couple of others before I could begin it, though.

Borg's Heart of Christianity is in my stack.

Erhman's book I read last year and liked a lot.

I've continued to avoid the Harry Potter books. Are they worth it? I may be judging them based on the first movie, which I saw and thought it sucked. I assumed the books were better, but never really bothered.
